A) Be respectful
- Treat members with respect: no bullying, harassment, name-calling, baiting, or dogpiling.
- Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not.
B) Keep people safe
- No doxxing: donâÂÂt post personal/identifying info (addresses, phone numbers, private emails, workplace details).
- No threats, encouragement of self-harm, or intimidation.
- No impersonation of members, staff, or organisations.
C) Keep animals safe (ferret welfare)
- No content promoting cruelty, neglect, or unsafe practices.
- If giving husbandry advice, be clear when youâÂÂre sharing personal experience vs established guidance.
- Emergencies and urgent illness/injury: treat as urgent and encourage immediate appropriate action.
D) Content quality and relevance
- Keep posts in the right categories and use clear titles.
- Avoid repetitive posts; use existing threads where appropriate.
- No low-effort spam, engagement farming, or copy-paste junk.
E) Prohibited content
- Hate speech or discriminatory content of any kind.
- ****** content involving minors (instant ban).
- Graphic violence or gore (unless clearly educational and appropriately marked, and even then may be removed).
- Illegal activity, including facilitation or instructions.
F) Buying, selling, rehoming (if you allow it)
- Be transparent: location (general area), age, temperament, health context (if known), and rehoming reason.
- No scams, pressure tactics, or deposits outside agreed safe methods.
- Follow all applicable UK laws and welfare standards.
- The forum may remove listings that raise welfare or safety concerns.
G) Photos and media
- Only upload media you have rights to share.
- DonâÂÂt post identifiable images of others (or their children) without consent.
- Keep image posts reasonably sized and relevant.
H) Advertising and promotions
- No unsolicited advertising or affiliate spam.
- Small business posts should be in the correct section and follow any posting limits set.
I) Moderation actions
- Moderators may edit/move/lock/remove content to keep things organised and safe.
- Repeated or severe breaches can result in restrictions or bans.
- DonâÂÂt argue moderation in public threadsâÂÂuse the agreed contact route/appeals process.
